VINTAGE MIRROR GLASS
Our vintage mirror glass is individually handmade using traditional 19th century Victorian techniques, in the glass workshops just outside of Bath in Somerset. It is not made from distrssing new mirror glass or by machine spraying of chemicals, but by laying down a layer of pure silver onto the back of the clear glass, and as such all our mirrors appear warmer, less uniform in their distressing and therefore more authentic. We cut your glass to size before we silver it, rather than cutting it from stock sheets of pre-mirrored glass, so each piece is lovingly aged around all of the edges as it would be if it was truly antique.
Our installations below give your an overall impression of how some of our finishes look in situ, but they are not exhaustive of what we can offer. All of the images show 4mm clean cut glass, but other glass options are available; from bevelled to toughened. Our standard glass can be supplied on sheets up to 2400 x 1605mm, but larger options are available if required at additional cost.
The fixing of mirrored glass tiles could not be easier using the wall adhesive that we can supply with your order together with simple instructions for use.
